A small, 3 campus private school was looking to expand their 1 to 1 computing initiative for students entering the Junior year of High School. The program, designed to help students be more competitive in the college
marketplace was dependent on each student having his or her own notebook computer. The notebook would then run a physics application commonly used in college level physics courses, hence giving the students familiarity with the program in advance.

 

 

With a need for more than a 130 notebooks, The project manager had unexpressed concerns of the logistics of handling the software load and configuration internally and whether it could be done in time for the school
year. CaDan assisted with Integration and imaging services to augment the school’s limited IT resources, saving the school the agony of 130 - plus separate software loads. With the benefit of CaDan’s integration services, they were able to get the students notebooks well in advance and had more control over the implantation of the project.
