History

In 1992, after many years of employment in business management, Cassandra Rogers founded CaDan Corporation as a small business selling audio, video, telecom and a limited selection of computer products. Concurrently, her husband, Dan, was a seasoned technology executive with a major provider of industrial computers and PC-based industrial applications.

In 1994, Daniel Rogers, a consultant to business and government organizations, found his clients interested in products consistent with CaDan’s offerings. CaDan’s sales grew steadily thanks to a growing list of clients garnered by Dan.

Two years later CaDan was in the midst of defining its in-house and on-site services strategies. Shortly thereafter, the company’s first technicians were hired to build custom hardware solutions and support network environments.In 1998, CaDan’s top priority was contacting and solidifying business partner relationships with major hardware and software manufacturers. Additional employees, certified in branded products, were added to its staff.

The next stage of partnership initiative was accomplished from 1999 to 2001, when CaDan proved to manufacturers it could sell their products and provide a variety of services. During this same period, CaDan was demonstrating to clients its custom integration solution capabilities to blend hardware/software applications and take advantage of higher end branded products and network technologies.

To keep pace with a tremendous sales growth spurt in 2004, the company moved to its present office/warehouse location in Eagan.

In 2005, CaDan accomplished one of its major goals— to be recognized by major manufacturers as a company that deserves their attention. It also has maintained a reputation as a highly valued vendor to a growing list of customers along signing the largest sales and service agreement in it’s history .

CaDan’s history is an entrepreneurial success story. It started with a strong vision. It invested in people with outstanding product/application knowledge who listened and responded to customers. Today, CaDan has emerged from the pack to be a leading provider of technology solutions.
